At AC Oklahoma City Bricktown, we wanted to create a dynamic lobby sculpture that both activates the three-story atrium and nods to the buzzing entertainment district where the hotel resides.

To help tie the space together, I worked one-on-one with an artist to develop a sleek, site-specific installation for the lobby atrium. The final piece features ~900 bronze epoxy spheres cascading down .018" steel strands (19'L x 8'W x 11'D overall). In the bright daylight, the spheres compliment the organic palette of the space and appear to be floating. As the sky outside darkens, the spheres take on the appearance of twinkling stars and set the ambiance for the vibrant bar crowd.
